Her nursery will be shabby chic, so I decided to carry that theme over into the shower. It will be a shabby chic garden tea party of sorts... Pinks, Greens, and Yellows will be the parties pallet. Bunnies, Flowers and Teapots will be a part of the decor.
I put an inspiration board together for the look and feel I want for my sisters baby shower...
Once the shower occurs I will post pictures of the outcome. I have a crafting day schedule and have called upon some of our girlfriends to come help me paint and glue and tape. I'll post pictures of the projects and simple instructions on how I got the looks!
As for the menu, I want to keep it simple but girlie!

I had my eye on 3 designs, sent them in to several bakeries but the price range of $200-$600 for a baby shower cake was just to steep...so I am going to try my hand at making them. Here are the 3 that I feel in love with.

My goals for recreating one of these cakes is a bit lofty, but we shall see. I am 85% sure I can pull off one of the looks of these cakes.
